1. Overview
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is recruiting for 650 Assistant posts across various regional offices. This is a prestigious national-level banking job offering an attractive starting salary of approximately ₹58,514 per month.
2. Vacancy (650 Total)
Vacancies are distributed by office. Some of the major office distributions include:
- Mumbai: 249
- Chennai: 53
- Kanpur & Lucknow: 50

3. Selection Process
The selection consists of three mandatory stages:
Preliminary Examination: 100-mark objective test (Qualifying nature).
Main Examination: 200-mark objective test (Final merit is based on this).
Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state they are applying to. Failing the LPT leads to disqualification.

- Handwritten Declaration: 50 KB – 100 KB (Written in English only).
- Text: "I, _______ (Name), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when needed."
