1. Overview

The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has announced a Special Recruitment Drive for the post of Supervisor Instructor (Class-III). This recruitment is exclusively for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) to fill vacancies in various technical and vocational trade groups under the Directorate of Employment and Training.

3. Selection Process

The selection is based on a single-stage objective examination. There is no interview for these posts.

  1. Written Exam (CBRT/OMR): 210 Total Marks.

  • Part A: General Knowledge, Maths, Reasoning, Gujarati & English (90 Marks).
  • Part B: Trade-specific Technical Questions (120 Marks).

  1. Document Verification (DV): Candidates who clear the merit list will be called for verification.

Note: There is a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer. Minimum qualifying marks are 40% for both parts.

4. Application Fee

  • PwBD Candidates: As this is a special drive for Divyang candidates, they are generally exempted from the examination fee.
  • Note: Always check the specific trade notification on OJAS; if a fee is charged (usually ₹100 or ₹400 for exams), it is typically refunded to candidates who appear for the exam.

5. Required Documents

Keep scanned copies of these documents ready before applying:

  • Identity Proof: Aadhaar Card / Voter ID.
  • Educational: Degree/Diploma/ITI Marksheets and Passing Certificates.
  • Disability Certificate: Valid PwBD certificate with clearly mentioned percentage and type.
  • Experience: Experience certificate (if applicable for specific trades).
  • Language: Evidence of knowledge in Gujarati and Hindi.
  • Photo & Signature: As per the size specifications on the OJAS portal.
